She'd wander through Miles City all the time. Once passing through working as a cook. She worked out of a shack in the back of the Grey Mule saloon on Park (now Fifth) street. If you have the 1883 overview map, check out the little building behind the establishment labelled "Kittie Hardiman's Place." Kittie Hardiman ran the Grey Mule.
